Special Projects
Nutrition programThe daily diet of children in rural Cambodia includes only basic foods, like rice and vegetables. The absence of important nutrients, such as proteins and fats, has a significant impact on children’s growth and their ability to perform academically. For this reason, in 2015, Missione Possibile started a nutrition program aimed at providing children with a more balanced diet by increasing the variety and quantity of food available to them. Every school day, eggs, bananas and milk are distributed to the students. The program has been having positive benefits, with students being more responsive and able to keep their focus longer in class. Teaching ValuesAlong with academic education, Missione Possibile's teachers provide guidance on human values that are fundamental to every individual. Honesty, love and respect for oneself and others, family unity, and mutual cooperation are principles that have been compromised by Cambodia’s historical events. Creating awareness in the new generation will bring positive changes to the future of the country.

Oral CareA basic oral hygiene project was introduced in our schools, teaching children to take
care of their teeth by brushing them twice a day. Each classroom is equipped with individual cups where children keep their toothbrushes. |
Sports EducationChildren enrolled in our schools, both boys and girls, are part of the Inter Campus Cambodia
program, a special sports training dedicated to unprivileged children. Football, as well as other sports and games becomes an educational tool to teach the value of fairness and teamwork. |
Eye ScreeningIn association with the Hong Kong Optical Manufacturers Association (HKOMA) all students in the primary and secondary school received comprehensive eye screening.
Students who are identified as requiring further examination will then receive follow-up care and be provided with corrective lenses if required. |
