"Let us not become weary in doing good,
for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
2015 has just ended and this is the best moment to say thank you to you.
As you know, our mission is to reach people who are fighting for survival and who are deeply in need.
We provide support to many children so that they can live in better conditions, access education, learn via sporting activities, drink clean water and eat better food. Plus, with our mobile clinic, we offer medical assistance to thousands of men, women and children, and create jobs locally which contribute to economic development.
We bring hope and love to people, strongly believing that each person is unique and marvelous, deserving respect and freedom.
2015 was a year of new challenges and difficulties, not always easy to deal with. The educational project that we started in 2005 with a primary school has now developed into including a new middle school. These schools help children who come from six villages in Cambodia and, at the start of the school year last October, we had 480 pupils divided into 18 classes.
Most of the pupils who attend our schools come from very poor families, even today their modest houses do not have toilets, running water, drinkable water or electricity. The parents of the pupils are usually farmers or factory workers and it is not always easy to talk to them about school and family issues.
In June and July tropical storms destroyed the roof of the schools as well as several houses in the nearby villages. We had to carry out important works to repair and actually rebuild the whole roof of the middle school, which was not only disruptive, but also expensive. We are very grateful that both teachers and pupils were unharmed.
Thanks to your precious contribution we will be able to help thousands of people in Cambodia in 2016 as well!
Best wishes from the team of Missione Possibile.
